Only 30 minutes north of our farm is Ludlow, Vermont, home of the Okemo Mountain Resort, a family-owned, four-season, outdoor enthusiasts’ playground. Okemo features the highest vertical in southern Vermont, a modern and efficient lift system and a vast trail network that spreads across five mountain areas.
Despite the rap East Coast skiing sometimes gets, Okemo is a head above the rest. Snowmaking is offered on 96% of the trails, and according to Skiing Magazine, the mountain ranks Top 3 in the East for snowmaking quality and #1 in the East for grooming.
